Movie fans are horrified by Disney's decision to film Mulan in the Uyghur Region, where the government is running hundreds of ethnic concentration camps.
We are all shocked that Disney thanks the Turpan City Police Department and Propaganda Department for their help filming Mulan. In Turpan, these agencies are locking up tens of thousands of Uyghur women and men in brutal detention centers and forced-labor factories, enforcing draconian control, and disseminating Orwellian messages promoting "ethnic unity" in the midst of the largest detention of an ethno-religious group since WWII.
Support Uyghurs by boycotting Disney's Mulan and instead donating $29.99 to the Uyghur Human Rights Project (UHRP).
UHRP needs your help to:
- Provide humanitarian assistance to concentration-camp survivors and their families
- Keep in touch with Uyghur asylum seekers all over the world, to help them reach safety
- Translate survivors' testimonies from Uyghur into other languages to help the world #HearUyghurs
