Little 4 week old Wildflower is currently in the hospital receiving emergency care for renal abnormalities. She is estimated to be in the hospital for 24-48 hours and is fighting for her life!
She and her littermates, The Cub Club, have been the chonkiest, sweetest litter to date! They were washed away from mama in a storm when they were two weeks old, but have been THRIVING in foster care ever since. Wildflowers foster mom noticed Wildflower not acting her normal self yesterday afternoon (03/27/20). She was running a high temp and screaming in pain and had mucusy, bloody discharge coming from her vaginal area. At the vet, it was discovered that her kidney is extremely enlarged and recommended we go to an Emergency Facility forh her care. It is recommended that she stay in the hospital to receive IV antibiotics, fluids, etc while they perform diagnostics to figure out what is wrong with sweet Wildflower.
We know times are so extremely rough, but if anyone can spare some money to help us save Wildflower's life, we'd be forever grateful. We are an extremely small 501c3, nonprofit organization with zero paid staff. We had to put down the deposit in order for her to treat her, which wipes out our rescue account and leaves us with nothing for any additional costs for her, let alone the other 12 kittens in our care. We were hoping to handle this kitten season without asking for donations in light of the devestation faced by humans due to CO-VID19, but this is an extremely heavy hit on our small little rescue's budget and could be the very end of it. 💔💔 We did a very big fundraiser in February which we have not received payment for and so our rescue is now in a horrible spot.
Please help us so Wildflower isn't the last little life we are able to save!
We will be mailing out Cat Lady Pins to everyone who donates $20.00 or more, with donations over $30 receiving 2! Please just email us or message us your address and which color(s) you'd like.
We have set the fundraising goal to match our qoute. $1,976.08 to $2,647.37 (estimate in pictures)
If you are not able to spare anything at all, sharing is just as helpful! And if you were not able to donate $20.00, but would still like a pin, e-mail us anyway and we will see what we have left to send after the campaign.
