This is just one peice of a large campagian and we're closer than ever before, there's still plenty to time to donate!
In hopes of reaching even more former students and families, we have added this GoFundMe to our many ways you can support us. If you can't afford to give, try sending this campaign to 5 people!
Like most businesses and organizations around the world, the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Center for Theater Arts has been severe, and is unlike any other challenge in our history. We’ve been fortunate enough to weather the storm thus far, and have successfully and responsibly reopened our doors for reduced-capacity education this fall. However; as we celebrate our 40th year of operation, we’re faced with the grim reality that the future of The Center is very much in jeopardy. Current enrollment capacity restrictions, lack of revenue from live performances, and the loss of tuition from our spring and summer sessions will not allow us to cover our operating costs in the first and second quarter of the new year. With the support of our Board of Directors, we’ve launched an aggressive fund-raising campaign with a goal of reaching $150,000 by December 31st. These funds are vital in ensuring that we have the resources needed to continue in our mission of providing the highest-quality performing arts to all students, including those with special needs, opportunities to improve their self-image and self-confidence through artistic expression. While we’re encouraging everyone to go to our website and learn more about how you can help to keep The Center in your community, all the funds from this campaign go directly to keeping the doors at CTA open for good.
