The American Legion Post 134 has owned the Alberta street location since we were gifted it by the Frederick & John Ravin family in 1974. Since then the Legion has been an important part of the community and Veterans. We have hosted many a local gathering of veterans, community organizations, music groups, and many others. It is a vital part of any community to have a gathering space that is accessible and willing to work with other non profits. We have been at that location since 1974 and we want to continue to be for years to come. Unfortunately due to some neglect and now the Coronavirus, we have had to close our doors and are prevented from creating any revenue. We have always functioned very lean because we are a nonprofit and did not have savings to weather us through this pandamic. Also we have found that the building is in need of major repairs. We are asking for financal help to allow us to rehab the building. Please consider donating to us so we can keep this Veterans and community space and serve the area for another 50 plus years!!!
