The south wall part of the original portion of the 1962 museum is sinking. We need to lift about 60 feet of this wall and install new foundation footings to bedrock. When we do, we need to raise the interior floor about 5 to 8 inches to match as well. The outside wall along this entire dip has cracked open and must be fixed. Our Museum is a treasure chest, focusing on our logging history as well as the history of our local area. The City and County is called "MARINETTE' to honor the memory of the Native American and French woman whose personality and abilities were widely recognised. We are a private non profit 501c3 corporation, and exist because of the membership, donations and bequests from individuals like you. We receive no funds from City or County. Please consider helping us with this repair.
