This Farm has been in operation since the Mundy family settled in the foothills of NC. As a family, they helped found what was then known as Dry Pond - now Denver, NC. They also were founders of Camp Meeting at the Rock Springs Campground.
Our goal is to preserve this property for both historic and agricultural purposes.
This is an opportunity to protect over 160 acres in Lincoln County, NC. This amazing historic farm land has several springs, a strong creek with small waterfalls, and over one half acre of exposed bedrock creating a unique microhabitat. So far, this Farm is the only naturally exposed bedrock feature known in Lincoln County, NC.
*To specify - the money raised will be used by Outdoor Wellness League (a registered charitable organization) to purchase the property. OWL will then use the property for educational and agrictural purposes. If OWL is unable to purchase the property, the funds donated will be used towards OWL operating expenses and one of our other great projects.
