Want to join us in making a difference? We're raising money to Save Historic Brodhead Armory and any donation will help make an impact. The Brodhead Association, a private non-profit incorporated organization, was established to raise public awareness of the Armory as an historic resource and to raise funds for its preservation.
The purpose is to provide a community destination for education and training to youth and adults, especially Veterans.
Brodhead was home to the 1st Battalion 24th Marines and served as the Marine Corps Mobilization Station.
The Naval Sea Cadet Corps James M Hannan Division, formed in 1964 and comprised of young men and women ages 11 through 17, considered Brodhead home and trained on the training ships and subs. The Navy League Detroit Women Council was founded at Brodhead in 1946.
We welcome your interest and your contributions. Thanks in advance for your contribution to the preservation of this treasure which means so much to our Veterans and our city.
