Eight years ago, members of the HeARTbeat Collective set out to produce a gathering that would support and help sustain a Land project where we could come together and share in our truths, expressions, and beauty. We created the Unifier Festival and found the 417 acre property in the foothills of the Berkshires called Camp Timber Trails. We had a ten year plan. When the property went up for sale after our 2016 gathering, we joined up with members of the Dance New England community and together we purchased and began stewarding this amazing place.
Since then, we have come together with our families, loved ones, and friends and offered gatherings that have expressed the very best in all of us.
At this time, as Covid-19 has its hold on so many of us, we have needed to shut down the camp and lose some, or potentially all, of our summer rentals. It is our hope that whatever losses there are, it will not last. On the other end of this crisis it is our intention to do everything we can to have this wonderous place where we can all gather, make music, dance, share culture and art, do ceremony, and know the best parts of ourselves once again.
If you have been moved by your experiences and are able, please make an offering at this time. Every bit helps. A member of our community has offered to match donations up to $25,000, so know your donation will have a great effect. Thank you.
