On Friday, March 13th, Rapunzel and the Rabbit was touring rural Alabama, The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs had just opened to packed houses in our Wee Folks Theatre, and on our Mainstage The Sword in the Stone was scheduled for a world premiere in four days -- all three have now been postponed, and while we remain hopeful to see these shows back on our stages, we also know it's possible they may not return this season.
Losing three shows has been devastating. Costs for a single production can range from $11,000 to $75,000, and without ticket sales it will be nearly impossible to recover those losses. We need your help in keeping one of Alabama’s longest continuously running theatres open.
If you believe, like we do, that art is transformative for young people, will you help us out today?
The money you contribute will go directly towards keeping our doors open, our artists employed, and our ticket prices affordable so we can continue to bring world-class professional theatre to students, educators, and families in the Magic City--and beyond.
