Will you please help me save Camp Cedar Cliff? Camp is so much more than 300 acres, cabins and activities. It is a home away from home for so many kids!
My oldest daughter, Ella, started at Camp Cedar Cliff the summer after her 5th grade year, 7 years ago. She enjoyed 2 weeks of summer camp each year until she was old enough to be an ACIT.
The friends and connections she made there have been sustained throughout the years. She was discipled, challenged, encouraged, convicted, inspired and supported during her time there. She both sharpened and was sharpened by her peers. She was also able to disciple campers. She witnessed and helped campers climb walls, overcome fears, cook over fires, make new friends, build confidence, problem solve and simply have fun!
My youngest daughter, Addie, had her first experience at CCC this past summer with a week of day camp that she still describes as "the best week of my life!" She is looking forward to going back next summer for 2 weeks of overnight camp, God willing.
As a parent, the growth both personally and spiritually that I saw in my children and their friends was astounding. Outside of church, I have never known a place that nutures a personal realtionship with Christ like CCC does. And as a parent, I have made many good friends through my children's friends and parents. The reach that camp has goes well beyond its 300 acres and beautiful mountain setting. It is truly a place of love and compassion and service.
The witness that the camp provides has led hundreds of kids to Christ and that has to continue, and that is why I am asking you to give to the Camp Cedar Cliff Relief Fund.
