Everyone, I have the privilege to run in the Chicago Marathon in just 10 months, along with a few family & coworkers. I am running for those who roll; for those who have been paralyzed and are unable to walk or run. I will be raising money for the Spinal Cord Injury Association of Illinois (SCIA). Pat Genardo was on board for SCIA and had so much passion caring for those in need. I am so excited to be a part of this and would truly appreciate any support you would like to give!! You can read more about the SCIA below and how your donation will be used. --Thank you!
Runners who Run For Those Who Roll help the SCIA provide services for people who can no longer walk because they have been paralyzed by accidents and medical conditions. Whether caused by a motor vehicle crash, fall, violence or medical condition, however paralysis occurred, it changes life forever. The SCIA exists to help people through the overwhelming initial stage and throughout life. Your donation will be used to help find the care, products and services needed to live with SCI through services including information and referral, peer support, seminars, lectures, and advocacy. You may also help prevent new injuries from happening through free prevention programs for schoool students and senior citizen groups. Your contribution will make the runners marathon experience more meaningful by supporting them as they Run For Those Who Roll.
