This is my first marathon! And I'm a little nervous!
But not only is "completing a marathon" on my bucket list, but running for a cause, none other than My Friend's Place, is an opportunity I just couldn't pass up.
Many of you know I volunteer at My Friend's Place any chance I get and have organized multiple clothing drives in addition to being involved in many of their events over the past few years.
For those that don't know, My Friend's Place is a youth homeless shelter in Hollywood, California serving displaced youth ages 12-24 (and their children). They offer over 700 workshops throughout the year as well as internship, job and housing placements in an effort to assist and inspire youth experiencing homeless to live self-sufficient lives.
This year MFP has launched into their biggest year yet as an organization, which means we need your partnership more than ever before to help support the vital programming offered to our young people experiencing homelessness. Any and every gift makes a difference, so please consider contributing today as My Friend's Place continues to assist and inspire youth experiencing homelessness to build self-sufficient lives.
Together, we can end youth homelessness. Thank you!
