The NJ Chapter of the National Cervical Cancer Coalition (NJ-NCCC) was founded in 2009 by Christina Ryan in memeory of Cary Ann Cowan a life long NJ resident. Cary Ann was an amazing woman who lost her battle with cervical cancer just 3 1/2 months after being diagnosed. Cervical cancer is 100% CURABLE with early detection. NCCC is a Non profit organization dedicated helping to educate and raise awareness in our communites on the dangers of HPV and Cervical Cancer. On Friday, December 8th the NJ NCCC will be hosting our 9th Annual Santa Night where a group of not very good singing elves, along with Santa, will be riding a majestic sleigh (a.k.a chartered bus) we will be caroling around the Montclair, West Orange, Bloomfield, LIttle Falls, Cedar Grove, Verona, Caldwell and West Caldwell area bars and restaurants raising money to support the NJ NCCC. Through this fundraiser, we hope to directly impact the lives of children in our community by supporting education and prevention efforts that will bring us to the day when not one more child will have to lose his/her mother to cervical cancer.
