Starting March 1st, you have 20 days to hit 7.4 miles to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of our first MLS Cup title in 2001.
You can run, walk, or roll (scooter, skate, skateboard, cycle, wheel) the 7.4 miles over the course of the 20 days or you can knock them all out in 1 day. You can run part of it and walk the other part and maybe even cycle another. It's up to you. Have fun with it!
What's different about this race? You'll be separated into five (5) teams with each team having 2 team captains - 1 current player and 1 alumni player from our legendary 2001 team.
Each week of the race, your team captains will send an email with an added fun challenge. You can submit entries for the challenges for a chance to win a private group virtual meet & greet with your team captains, presented by Michelb Ultra.
Team Captain Duos include:
JT Marcinkowski & Zak Ibsen,
Oswaldo Alanis & Ramiro Corrales,
Shea Salinas & Jimmy Conrad,
Tommy Thompson & Troy Dayak
If you're not into challenges but you're into fundraising, the highest fundraisers for each team will also receive a prize.
Every participant registered gets a commemorative t-shirt and medal.
All profits will go towards getting local youth engaged in new ways through soccer, literacy, and scholarships.
Ready to race?
Thank you to our sponsors: Frank, Rimerman + Co. & Sutter Health!
