San Antonio 110 9/11 Memorial Climb - 2019
The San Antonio 110 9/11 Memorial Climb will once again be taking place on September 11th at the Tower of the Americas. First Responders from all across the country join together to pay tribute to their fallen brethren of 9/11. This event was created to pay tribute to the 343 firefighters who went to the WTC towers and perished on September 11th, 2001. Firefighters will climb the TOA stairwell twice to reach and actually exceed the 110 floors of the WTC buildings. Participants will complete the climb that their fallen brethren was not able to. This is why we climb. All 343 fallen firefighters of 9/11 will be paid tribute to. We will also pay tribute to the 70 fallen Law Enforcement Officers and 9 EMS personnel as well. A limited amount of public civilians will participate as well. We have over 50 different agencies participate in this event each year.
The San Antonio 110 9/11 Memorial Climb is 100% volunteer run and 100% funded by donations.
Remaining proceeds after event will benefit this year's chosen beneficiary: Saving a Hero's Place.
Crowdrise is our additional fundraising site for participants and supporters to show their support and help raise funds for our event and cause. Top fundraisers will receive a shout out for their efforts and a thank you package mailed to them after the event. Thank you for your support!
*Please note: Donation receipts are from The Bernie Grace Foundation. BGF is the 501(c)3 which hosts the San Antonio 110 9/11 Memorial Climb. Crowdrise requires our actual 501c3 name to collect funds. All donations are deposited directly into the SA110 9/11 account.
