Hi All,
For 3 weeks, I will be working in a village and facilitating the women of the village in setting up, implementing and successfully running a water purification business. For some perspective, in Northern Ghana HALF the population lacks access to clean drinking water and the village I will work in is currently drinking from a fecally contaminated “dugout”. Drinking this water is the culprit of many waterborne diseases.
How will your donation help?
100% of your donation will go towards in-country equipment to build, monitor and maintain this drinking water system and provide the females of the village the initial infrastructure to run a profitable water purification business. I and three other field representatives will be doing the dirty work, but just need your help to get the water business up and running! Once established, the business will provide a permanent source of safe drinking water for 700-1000 people!
