Saguaro Diamond Club Inc. is a qualified non-profit 501(C)(3) corporation that exists solely to support the baseball program at Saguaro High School in Scottsdale, Arizona. Tax ID: 27-1483950, saguarobaseball.com
The year-round program involves approximately 60 young men and their families, with a focus on player/personal development and social responsibility. The Saguaro Sabercat Men of Character initiative promotes service, accountability and participation in the community, which we believe goes together with the privilege of being a ballplayer. The teams recently worked to sort, pack, and deliver +800 blankets to the homeless on Christmas, adopted a local family for the holidays to provide food and goods, and served as baseball mentors with the Miracle League of Arizona. WHAT'S GOING ON NOW
The athletes have been hard at work on the field, training every day including strength-training, agility and skills work, and league games. Opening Day was a big success with a 7-0 Varsity win in a non-conference scrimmage game. Come on out and watch as the CATS continue to dominate!
BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Baseball is an expensive sport. We are asking for sponsorship to subsidize the cost of new equipment/apparel, scholarships for players who can’t afford to play, travel expenses, and facilities maintenance and upgrades (we are one of the only high schools without lights on our fields). Crazy, right? But lights cost over 100k, so that's a whole other dream...
Operating expenses include everything from uniforms to shade structures for our dugouts and grandstands (we play in the extreme Arizona heat) to the basics, e.g. hitting mats. Some of our big wish list items include: L-screens, batting cage repairs, a hitting turtle and our REALLY BIG WISH LIST includes installing lights on the fields, building a fieldhouse or locker room (which we'll happily share with softball), and installing a 9-inning scoreboard.

All donations are tax deductible as permitted by law! In the meantime, we'll be on the field every day after school - or out in the community volunteering. We'd love to meet you - let us know and we'll save you a seat at a game.
