On the 27th of June, I will be running the Safaricom marathon through the LEWA Wildlife Conservancy in Northern Kenya. The goal in running this marathon is to raise money for LEWA and its parent organization, the Tusk Foundation, which distributes funds to carefully selected wildlife projects in Africa.
LEWA Conservancy is one of the safest havens for the critically endangered White Rhino, Grevy Zebra, and Reticulated Giraffe. Theirs is the model and driver for the Northern Rangelands Trust, a union of conservancies creating protected corridors and vast expanses of land for migrating wildlife populations.
I hope you’ll be so kind as to contribute something towards their efforts for wildlife conservation. Even $5 would go a long way in protecting these beautiful animals and the human communities that they share space with.
Thank you so much,
