Respect Your Mother Recycling is a non-profit organization dedicated to minimizing the consumer waste footprint by establishing reachable goals for clients that promote sustainable and zero waste communities. We are comprised of a diverse group of community members whom share the collective goal of encouraging and promoting a sustainable consumer culture. RYM was initially founded in the Fall of 2016 as a grass roots organization aimed to help Greek life at CU Boulder reduce their waste. Since then, we have become a federal and state non-profit and have expanded our work to local businesses, as well as community events and festivals. Our current partnerships include Finkel & Garf Brewery, Deviant Spirits Distillery, Boulder International Film Festival, Frozen Dead Guy Days and Boulder Music Festival. We have also launched a community driven webinar series called Slow Living, which facilitates conversation and connects industry leaders in sustainability. RYM prides itself off maintaining operations that are completely zero waste. From re-purposing waste receptacles for our clients to transporting all collected waste via bike and bike trailer, we are setting the standard for a responsible and conscious consumer culture. As a community centered non-profit organization, we couldn't do this work without your support. In the spirit of the new year, we are raising funds to support our general operations, equipment needs and resources for our clients. We appreciate any amount, small or large. Thank you for contributing to our mission!
