My name is Ryan Koch and I am going to be senior at Seneca Valley Senior High School. The year ahead will be filled with many fun events and milestones and one, in particular, that I'm looking forward to is the 5K Walk / Run I am hosting to benefit the Pittsburgh Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society.
This event is very important to me because it raises awareness and money for a cause that affects someone very close to me: my mom. She was diagnosed with MS the year I was born, which makes this cause one that is close to the hearts of my family. You wouldn't know it by looking at her, but my mom fights her disease with regularly scheduled doctors appointments, diet, exercise, and supplements / medicines if and as needed.
Now, I'm asking you -- my family, friends and community -- to assist me in my efforts by coming to the event, making a donation, sharing this campaign with your own friends and family, or doing all of the above. It's a great cause! The Pittsburgh chapter of the MS Society works to improve the quality of life for people affected by MS in Central and Western PA and raises funds for critical MS research.
Thank you for your time and your consideration.
Ryan's Senior Project 5K Walk/Run will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at North Boundary Park in Cranberry Township from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
