Thank you for visiting my donation page for the 2018 Cape Cod Bay Challenge (CCBC). Saturday, July 28th will mark the 12th running of the Cape Cod Bay Challenge (CCBC). This will be my second time participating in the CCBC after a successful crossing of the bay from Plymouth to Wellfleet back in 2015.
In 2018, the CCBC will consist of a 7 hour, 22 mile stand-up paddleboard down coastal South Shore Massachusetts from Nantasket Beach to Duxbury Beach. The CCBC is not a race. We will paddle the 22 miles together and encourage/support one another along the way.
The goal of the event is to raise funds for an important non-profit organization called Christopher’s Haven. Christopher’s Haven provides housing to children (and their families) who come to Boston for pediatric cancer treatment. Christopher's Haven not only provides housing for families who have a child going through cancer treatment but it is a support system to help with things large and small, and a community where families can be together, share a laugh, be comforted, and comfort others. Christopher’s Haven allows kids and families to focus their energies on the challenge of beating cancer. It is an amazing organization and I’m excited to have the opportunity to support Christopher's Haven as a CCBC paddler; I hope you will support the cause as well!
Please consider making a donation on my behalf.
For those who can generously donate $100.00 dollars or more will receive a free copy of my new photo memoir, that reflects back on eight years of searching, chasing, photographing and surfing waves in New England.
DONATIONS BY CHECK Supporters who want to make a donation to your paddle by check should make their checks out to Christopher’s Haven and should include “2018 CCBC – Paddlers Name” in the memo section. Checks should be collected by the paddler and given to the CCBC at check in on the day of the event in an envelope with the paddlers name or sent directly.
