It was a great Friday! Last Thursday I had my "last" appointment with my oncologist. I first met him on Good Friday in 2014 when I was diagnosed with cancer. I thought about this last appointment for a long time but was reluctant just because of what the diagnosis could be, I feel I am one of the lucky ones. I was declared cancer free with little chance of any reoccurrence.
Cancer doesn’t discriminate it has taken many relatives, attacked classmates, my high school teachers, college professors, coworkers and young children. I am sure that many of you can name numerous family and friends as well.
I am working with the American Cancer Society to raise funds to help people affected by this terrible disease and I have chosen that the funds we raise go towards groundbreaking research.
We completed the run on May 5th and the team logged over 66 miles between us. I am asking that you go to this site to donate and share this site so that we can help raise funds and awareness for this worthy cause to help find a cure for this disease and provide some assistance for those fighting it as well. We have less than an week to hit the goal.
