This August, I will be fortunate enough to have the amazing experience of traveling to Standing Rock reservation in North Dakota with other vet students, veterinarians and technicians (all volunteers!) to offer free spay/neuter and vaccine services to underserved populations. Without Rural Area Veterinary Services (RAVS), a program run by the Humane Society of the United States, many of the animals living on these reservations would have little or no access to veterinary care. RAVS continually works towards a mission very near and dear to my heart: to promote the health and welfare of animals (and their humans!) regardless of financial or cultural boundaries.
That said, please considering donating to RAVS-Standing Rock 2018 to help us offset the cost of surgical tools, vaccines and other supplies necessary to keeping this traveling, free clinic up and running. My personal goal is to reach $425 by this July. If you love animals, please consider donating to this incredible cause. Even just a dollar or less will do a world of good!
