Rupa, founder of FFLV needs your help to raise funds for a sport facility in our Sandipani Muni School in the rural Kiki Nagla Village, just outside Vrindavan, India.
FFLV has been serving the poorest of the poor in the Vrindavan area since 1991. Till date we have served over 20 milion free meals and have helped thousands of people whowould struggle to survive without the support of FFLV.
Our focus is education for girls. We have 1800 students in three schools. It is truly amazing to see the change education brings to the lives of these girls.
In rural India it is very common for a girl not to do any sport. Her heavy household duties and traditions keep her from it. FFLV and Sandipani Muni Schools want our girls to have this opportunity which will add to their wellbeing and will grow into a strong and powerful generation.
To raise the funds needed for building our first gymnasium, we have embarked in a challenge:
The Costa Rica challenge is on from Wednesday 20th November to Sunday 1st December 2019.
Rupa, together with a group of FFLV friends from the USA and the UK will participate in this tough strenuous challenge over a range of wild terrain, deep into cloud forest and dense tropical rainforest. We are determined to built a sport facility for our girls and your support and encouragement is very needed and appreciated!
Sport is a wonderul way for our girls to express themselves. It is healthy, creates social and emotional connections, builds character and self-esteem and helps them face daily challenges.
The trip is organised by FFLV UK in collaboration with Earthbound Adventures.
