As many of you know, I have focused my fundraising efforts to help combat suicide having lost both of my brothers to this horrific tragedy. Historically, I have run the Falmouth Road Race and supported the Suicide Prevention Coalition that was local to that area. With the Covid Pandemic, nearly all of the races that I was planning on running this year, were canceled, rescheduled or went virtual. Further ramifications that the pandemic has brought include a higher rate of suicide and depression. In light of this, I will focus my fundraising efforts supporting Riverside Community Care which is an organization that helps individuals battling mental health crises especially those at risk for suicide!
In just a couple of weeks, I will be taking on one of my greatest physical challenges to date: The Hamsterwheel! I will have 30 hours to run as many miles as I can within that times span. My goal is to run 100 miles and if I can do more, then I will take whatever my legs will allow me to do!!! I know that no matter how hard it gets, I will always have my brothers Kevin and Daniel by my side helping me along every step of the way.
Thank you deeply for any support that you can provide this organization that is instrumental in helping to combat a growing health care crisis, especially suicide!!!
