Running for Rainbow
Hey Everyone! Anybody that knows me, knows that I've been running my entire life. It’s the only sport I've every excelled at (shoutout to my 3 days as a basketball player and one season of soccer). I've decided to to return from my collegiate running career to race my first Marathon this year at the Chicago Marathon. I've been blessed my entire life with good health and the ability to practice this wonderful talent of mine. For this reason I've decided to raise money for a Foundation near and dear to my family— Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital. Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital is an incredible institution that provides immeasurable care, support, and comfort for children and their families facing some of the scariest diagnoses. Every dollar donated to my page here will be directly donated to the Hospital’s Foundation that my own Momma has worked on and supported for going on 9 years now. Throughout high school and college, I returned home for the annual Rainbow Radiothon, and even got to attend the Foundation’s biennial Ride the Rainbow gala this past year. At this event, I witnessed $1.5 million dollars raised in support of the Hospital and all of the good work that its tireless health care providers give to those who need it most. No matter the amount, I would be endlessly grateful for your donations towards my cause. No child and family should have to face serious illnesses alone, and Rainbow makes sure that they don’t have to! Thanks so much— Peace & Love! Mitch
