Want to join me in supporting a good cause? I'm raising money for the DC Downtown Food Ministry, and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. I’m running the Daytona 100-mile ultramarathon this coming Saturday, December 5, 2020 to raise money for this great ministry. I would love to challenge you to give toward every mile or a one-time gift. This is a 100-mile race that starts in Jacksonville Beach, Fl. and ends in Daytona, Fl. All donations go directly to the DC Downtown Food Ministry. As I run, I will be committing my prayers, effort and training for this great cause that feeds so many in our community. We are trying to raise $5000.00 to kick the new year off with a surplus to continue to feed the hungry in our region. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support. I've included information about the DC Downtown Food Ministry below.
Our region has been impacted this year by COVID-19 just like many other parts of the nation. Many people have been laid off, furloughed, or released from their jobs. This has caused a spike in people needing help with their weekly household budget. The DC Downtown Food Ministry is working to change that through the efficient collection and distribution of wholesome foods. We feed on average 300 families a week in Ware County and the counties that surround it. We are doing all we can to fight hunger in our region. Thank you so much for your support. The DC Downtown Food Ministry is located at 201 Jenkins Street, Waycross, Ga
