In 1997, my sister, Denise, was diagnosed with breast cancer. She fought valiantly for just over a year when the cancer proved too great a challenge. She died on January 17, 1999. She was 32.
At the time, little was known about Inflammatory Breast Cancer and how agressive it could be in young women. In the twenty years since Denise passed, more discoveries have been made and more young women are surviving.
This research is the only way we can fight this terrible disease. I appreciate any and all donations you could make to keep the research going. Thank you if you have already donated!
I promise to run strong on 2/10/19, not only for Denise, but all of the people affected by breast cancer.
