After running ultramarathons and fundraising for Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia, 2018 sees me take on a new challenge as I switch focus to running obstacle races, culminating in the Spartan Trifecta World Championships in Sparta, Greece where I will run 3 races, cover 23 miles and 74+ obstacles over a weekend. Follow me while I complete a series of races leading up to the main event in November, and along the way raise funds for a cause close to my heart.
Without the proper screening and treatment those born with CAH can face life-threatening conditions, and even when identified, those living with CAH need life-long treatment. However with early identification and management those living with CAH can go on to live normal lives. All money raised through this campaign will go directly to the CARES Foundation to help aid those families living with CAH and research into the condition.
If those living with CAH can manage their condition for a whole lifetime, surely a few obstacle races is the least I can do!
