I'm not fast, but I am determined. I'm not trying to set any personal records. I'm just running for my lungs and health. March 29, 2020, I will be completing in the Rocf CF Rivers Half marathon in Detroit, MI. This will be my 11th half marathon! It's surreal to even type that. I am 43 years old living with Cystic Fibrosis. For this particular race, my heart has once again been filled with the desire to give back to others. I am running to raise funds for a life changing, non-profit organization Coach-Ed. The mission of Coach-Ed is "To encourage, enable and support Cystic Fibrosis patients to live beyond the limitations of the disease." Their programs offer sponsorship, scholarships, mentors, life activities and beyond by supporting those living with CF, like myself, and aide in attaining their fitness goals and dreams. How amazing! They do not exist without the generosity of donations. They did not ask me to fundraise. I chose to do so. I want to assist in keeping their program alive by humbly asking you to consider a monetary gift in conjunction with each mile I run on March 29th. I believe, in fact, I know, when I choose to exercise, I am prolonging my life with CF. Coach-Ed is doing the same for others like me. If you wish to see what they are all about and the fantastic things they are doing, visit www.Coach-Ed.org. Thank you so much for your time and consideration. Because I believe in what they are doing, I am so excited to be running for their cause!! Lots of love,
Michelle
