Hello Friends & Family,
I hope this note finds you well.
I’ve been a runner for roughly ten years now. During that time I’ve run my fair share of races, from countless 5ks to a marathon. That said, the NYC marathon has always been my goal. Sadly, I’ve never been able to get in via the lottery—and I’ve been reluctant to run for a charity because I was hesitant to ask friends and family for donations.
Well, my hesitation has recently changed. Since moving back to NYC, Lorrin and I have befriended a neighbor who is the CEO for a charity that supports people suffering from Tourette Syndrome. The Tourette Syndrome Association of America raises awareness and funds research for those who are diagnosed.
It’s a worthy cause...so, I’m running for Team Tourette.
I’m asking you to please donate what you can.
You will be supporting a great cause, as well as helping me achieve a personal goal.
