The four of us made a key decision in the early days of 2021: let’s run in the Myrtle Beach Marathon on May 1st. There’s no reason not to. Three of us are first year MBA students at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, Daniel is a financial advisor for Equitable Advisors in Jacksonville, FL. We’re all young, able, and ambitious. For those same reasons, we felt running wasn’t enough and started looking for ways to have a larger impact than taking up space on a racecourse. That’s when we decided to partner with the ALS Association North Carolina Chapter because we’re young, able, and ambitious. Mobility isn’t guaranteed and we understand it’s a privilege to be able to run marathons. ALS NC creates immeasurable impact on those affected by ALS, and we hope our fundraiser will support their efforts in providing care when someone needs it the most.
