North Carolina is ground zero for gerrymandering, or crazily drawn political maps, drawn by the party in power. Democrats and Republicans are both guilty and citizens want their state back. Omer Abdulrahman is a refugee from Sudan and David Meeker is a business owner, and both now live in Raleigh. They are running the Boston Marathon to raise money for Common Cause North Carolina, the group filing the lawsuits against the gerrymandered districts. Support the litigation and fair maps by donating.
