Hello strangers, colleagues, friends and family,
I am so excited to be running my second ever marathon, this time for the Urban Justice Centre, and in New York! The UJC is an amazing charity which serves and supports New York City's most vulnerable residents through a combination of services, such as legal support, systemic advocacy, education and more, to help drive an advancement in legalisation for social justice.
I'm honoured to be running in aid of the UJC. My dearest friend, Jacqueline Scott-Douglas, is a board member to their Young Professional Network and works as an advocate for the charity. I'm very excited to be contributing to the work they do by running the 42km course in NYC on Sunday 4 November.
I'm a keen runner currently living in London. I kick started my marathon training in April with the aim to run the race in 4 hours and 15 minutes (or less if possible!).
All donations are most welcome to help reach my 2,500$ target! Thank you so much for your support!
