Hey everyone! Im running in the Austin marathon this year (me run?!) and I am thrilled to get started in my training. Out of all of the 6,000 non-profits I could have chosen I have chosen the Council on At-Risk Youth as the charity I will run for.
The Council on at-Risk Youth(CARY) is an Austin based 501-c-3 non profit dedicated to empowering our community's at risk youth with the life skills they need to help them avoid a life of crime and violence. CARY has been around for 18 years and has directly served over 9,000 of our community's most at-risk students. CARY believes that when we invest in our community we can truly change the lives of CARY students while also making our community healthier and stronger. CARY is also the ONLY non-profit that works with this community of students and is incredibly successful in changing lives. But, sadly, CARY is only able to serve about 15% of the need in our community but I want to change that.
I need to raise $400 to get my racing bib for the Austin marathon and I need YOUR help to raise that! $400 bucks allows CARY to help one student for six months and can change that students life forever!
Can you help me by donating $20, $40, or $100 today so we can change more of our communities at risk youth tomorrow?
I believe in what CARY does and I know that, with your help, we can empower all of our communities at-risk youth and change their lives forever!
