Laurel was born on February 8, 2008 with Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia. It was a shock to have the nurses take my daughter away without me being able to see her. Ten hours later a Pediatric Cardiologist came to talk to me about Tetralogy of Fallot and what that meant for my daughter.
Thanks to all of the organizations that help families with congenital heart defects, I was able to care for my daughter and achieve the best prognosis that I could have asked for.
Laurel now 11, thrives! She is a leader and an amazing scholar who does not let her heart define her.
Thanks in advance for your support!
