Fun and Run for the SAFE Fund
My Story
  Oct 25 2020 . United States

My name is Dwayne Osgood, and I’m running the Marine Corps Marathon to raise money for the Sonic Automotive Family Emergency (SAFE) Fund. In 2019, I was diagnosed with Glioblastoma (GBM), an aggressive type of brain cancer, and had surgery to resect the tumor last March. Determined not to let cancer stop me, I signed up to run my SIXTH Marine Corps Marathon this October. The money raised for the SAFE fund will provide financial support to my Sonic Automotive teammates in times of hardship. It’s my way of giving back to the people who have given so much to me.
