Breast cancer is a terrible disease that has affected many of my family members and friends, including my mom. When dealing with this disease, whether you are a patient or a loved one, finding a resource for credible and comprehensive information is critical. When my mom first battled this disease there wasn’t really one comprehensive source for information, at a time when my family was in need of a lot of education. Breastcancer.org is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing the most reliable, complete, and up-to-date information about breast cancer. Their mission is to help women, men, and their loved ones make sense of the complex medical and personal information about breast health and breast cancer, so they can make the best decisions for their lives. Last year I successfully finished the Boston Marathon in support of this meaningful cause, and I'm taking another shot at it again in 2020. I’m proud to run for Team John Hancock while raising money for such a worthy non-profit organization.
