Many of you know of our small congregational church on the green in Prospect. We host many events over the course of the year, from the annual Carnival to Prospect Nursery School to Boy Scout Troop 258. Right now we need help from our loving communities. We have recently discovered the roof of the church has too many leaks to continue to repair and now needs to be replaced. Additionally, the gutters need to be replaced and the siding painted.
Timothy Beach, a member of our Church, and the first member of the 169 Club from Prospect, has fallen in love with the number 26.2 (miles in a marathon). He's run 53 official marathons over the last 15 years and has a goal of completing 100 marathons. He is helping our church raise funds while meeting another goal of his, to run every road in Prospect, at least once, starting Christmas Day 2019 and finishing before his 60th brithday on July 31, 2020. Prospect has a total of 62.2 miles of town roads and another 9.4 miles of state roads. This is in addition to his preparing for his 8th Boston Marathon!
