Some think running a marathon is hard and they're not wrong, but my son Jake is really what my fundraiser is about. It’s just that running 26.2 miles is about the most challenging things I’ve been able to overcome, and it somehow seems to properly honor my son. Jake struggles with Autism and he needs support and I’ll be running 3/24 to support the people who support my son. The guys doing that are at this wonderful place called Creative Steps. They get him out in the community and have helped him find work. Unfortunately, I can’t get Jake or his coaches at Creative Steps to run a marathon and until then I’ll be asking on their behalf for donations. To be honest, it’s probably for the best that they focus on what they are doing, and I hope you’ll consider giving today to ensure Jake and others with Autism can get the coaching they need to meet their challenge.
