Pushing myself harder than ever before to complete the 750mi+ RTYD (Ride Till You Die) IV in 2017 earned me a rest period. Between then and now, my wife and I celebrate the birth of our son, moved across the country (again) for me to start a new job, and through all of this turmoil, my biking took a bit of a back seat. Enough is enough. I’m bored of that. I need a change. I need a challenge. It seems to me like the best way to challenge myself is to rope my best friend who started this madness with the original idea of RTYD into biking around the perimeter of Lake Erie with me.
Last time, I was fortunate enough to partner with the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation to raise money for autism research. This ride, my friend Dan and I have chosen to fundraise for the American Cancer Society. He and I have both seen close family members heavily impacted by cancer and we wish to do our part to help fund further research toward a cure.
Please join us in our journey to train and bike the lake and consider making a donation to the ACS.
