Rover Rescue is a network of volunteer foster homes – we do not have a central shelter. Since late 2003, Rover Rescue has found homes for more than 9,400 animals in need. While our primary focus is dogs and puppies, we also get the occasional opportunity to help rehome other animals such as chickens, pot belly pigs, bunny rabbits and even a few feline friends.
Rover Rescue is fortunate to be located in an area where people support pet adoption and many would like to help an animal in need. It's a "win-win" for the adopter and the adoptee: One of our furry friends finds a much needed home filled with kindness and support, and the adopter is the recipient of a lifetime of companionship and devotion. It is a labor of love, filled with sloppy kisses and wagging tails. It's also an opportunity to give back and make a life-changing difference, one dog at at time.
