Friends and Family,
I am on a mission this year to run the NYC Marathon in honor of a close friend and RBC colleague, Rick Tejpaul. We lost Rick on October 1st after a long battle with cancer. He was an extraordinarily courageous man. Rick was a family man, a wonderful dad, husband and son. Rick possessed an unconquerable spirit and always spoke of returning to RBC. He missed his team, cared about the people at RBC and the people cared deeply about Rick. My goal is to raise 60,000. These funds will go to help support the kids at the House and dedicate a room at the RMHD in Rick's memory. Rick was a great friend of the House and inspired many children fighting the daily fight. We were up there together at the House honoring my Dad, who grew very close with Rick. My Dad is a cancer survivor who has dedicated his survival to helping others inflicted with cancer fight the battle, providing comfort however he can. I run with Rick's unconquerable spirit for all those battling cancer, for the kids at the RMHD, and for all the kind souls everywhere and at RMHD who help lift each other up and provide hope. My goal is to break 4 hours after running 4:22:13 last year. I made a donation of 15,000 to get us started. Thank you for any support for the kids at RMHD and for honoring Rick's memory. Thank you.
