After 40 years of service, Ron Manderschied is retiring as President of Northwestern Settlement. Ron transformed the Settlement culture and under his leadership he developed the creative and cooperative atmosphere that became the foundation of the organization and all of the wonderful programs that Ron built together with his dedicated staff. The creation and expansion of a Teen program has been on Ron’s bucket list for quite some time. What a better way to honor his legacy at the Settlement than by achieving this last dream.
Due to the generosity of one of our donors, all gifts made to Ron's Legacy Campaign up to $200,000 will be matched. Join us in honoring Ron's 40 years by making a donation today.
This legacy campaign will provide resources to reimagine the Settlement's teen program with the addition of a dedicated meeting space and a variety of social, academic and support programs. This program expansion re-envisions how the Settlement works with teens, adding services that address the key poverty drivers within the 13-24 age range. Including, but not limited to high school graduation, teen pregnancy, delinquency/criminal justice involvement, and college enrollment and career readiness.
