I am supporting The Hope Water Project, again this year. HWP is an outreach ministry of Kensington Community Church.
I will be participating in a 66 mile bike ride, on August 19, the Assenmacher 100, in Genessee County. The money we raise goes to provide new wells for the POKAT tribe, in North Kenya.
I've been in training for this event since April.
Over 750 million people in the world lack access to clean water. That's almost 2.5X the US population!
Please consider a contribution, you can mail me a check, made payable to

The problem of poverty can be overwhelming. But we believe there's something we can do, and want to make a difference. When a community gains access to clean water;
-infant mortality rates drop by half
-children can attend school instead of gathering water (often many miles per day walked)
-women can care for their families instead of walking to far away wells
-crops and livestock thrive
Your donation will make a difference, it will impacts lives of the POKAT tribe of North Kenya. One well supports 2,000 people with clean water. Just $15 will provide clean water for 1 person! Please consider a donation, to incentivize me to make it to the 66 mile finish line!
Thanks!
Jeff
