Thrilled. Honored. Excited.
These are just a few words that describe my feelings being chosen to raise money and run the 2020 Boston Marathon for Keep Natick Beautiful, the local chapter of Keep America Beautiful.
Keep Natick Beautiful (KNB) strives to facilitate community service that embraces the planet we live on. Their 200 dedicated volunteers organize regular trash pick-ups in the open spaces in Natick, MA, educates about recycling, promotes pollinator-friendly gardening, and more to inspire others to care about our open spaces at the local level and beyond.
There is no doubt that KNB has had a tremendous impact on the community, however, maintaining and increasing their reach in the community is costly. As a result, they need our help. I am tasked to raise a minimum of $6,000 which will go towards programs and other areas of need within the organization.
Our environment, our home, our planet, is the only one we’ve got. We need to take care of it in whatever way we can, no matter how small of an effort. Join me in supporting Keep Natick Beautiful by clicking the Donate button and making a gift today!
P.S. – Keep an eye out for updates on my training for the Boston Marathon, and also for some exciting fundraising campaigns that I will be having on behalf of Keep Natick Beautiful!
