Amidst a year plagued by wildfires along the West Coast, many residents of California have experienced the loss of their homes, properties, and loved ones. While giving little time for residents to evacuate to safety, along with increased weather conditions, these disasters have yet to end. However, the Red Cross has made it its mission to aid the people who have been displaced by the fire's aftermath. The organization has been working alongside local officials to mobilize a massive relief effort to ensure people have a safe place to stay, food, and comfort during this time of uncertainty. The Red Cross has provided nearly 1,600 Red Cross disaster workers, 70,000 overnight shelter and hotel stays, 78,300 meals and snacks, and over 18,100 relief items.
Hillsborough High School's Red Cross Club has created this campaign in order to help fund the wildfire relief effort in California. Please help support this campaign; any amount would be greatly appreciated!!
