Riley's Run for Aortic Health

$200 of $5,000 goal

Riley is a 16 year old girl who was born with a bicuspid aortic valve which has led to an aortic aneurysm currently.  She is a very fun, intelligent young lady who recently underwent her first open heart surgery.

This race was put together by her friends and family to raise money for the John Ritter Foundation in hopes of continued research for treatment and awareness.

The John Ritter Foundation is an organization which promotes research and awareness into Aortic Aneurysm and Dissection.

Actor, John Ritter, passed away suddenly from an acute Aortic Dissection in 2003.  He was unaware that he had an aortic aneurysm.

So many people are unaware they have aortic health conditions until it is too late.  Riley's Run was created to help spread awareness of Aortic Health (it's not just about your heart! It is your aorta too!)--these conditions are very treatable when diagnosed in time.

By becoming a Charity Runner for Riley's Run you will help to spread awareness of Aortic Health when you ask for donations...and you'll receive a free race entry!!

Your individual goal is to race $200 (although you can of course raise more!).   Thank you so much!!
