My name is Jörg. I'm 34 years old and cycling through parts of the world. Currently I'm in Japan and cycling some 3000km here. In every country that I ride through, my goal is to help support one project that concerns itself with the protection of nature. May that be the protection of flora, fauna or habitat or may it be fighting pollution and reckless destruction. The Dolphin Project is the perfect, first one to raise money for, since it does not only fight for the concrete protection of a widely beloved species in particular, but also illustrates our - mankind's - relation to nature in generell and thereby urges us to a drastic re-evaluation of what nature means to us. For both reasons, I strongly identify with the project's goals and decided to ride against the drive hunt in Taiji. I also visited the coastal town and spoke to a local about the hunt, slaughter and the project. If you like, you can read about it here:
The Dolphin Project would appreciate any help and donation made to it for the good cause. Stop the drive hunt and the slaughtering and capturing of dolphins.
