RI Dysautonomia Sakonnet Bridge Lighting & Stroll
The RI bridge and Transit Authority is lighting up the Sakonnet Bridge Turquoise October 27th to celebrate Dysautonomia Awareness Month. DSN members will also be displaying obtained state, city and town proclamations recognizing October as Dysautonomia Awareness Month in RI. We hope you will join us for group photos and press opportunities. Our RI DSN Virtual 5K team will be meeting for a casual 1-mile awareness bridge walk and roll. The group will depart from the bike path entrance on the Tiverton side of the Sakonett bridge promptly at 5 pm. The paved bike path on the bridge is approximately 1/2 mile long, participants can bike, walk or roll. We will meet for sunset bridge photos and a Salty Seaside party at the nearby Tiverton Marina 6-7 pm. Everyone who registers will receive an awareness shirt and digital souvenir picture. Children welcome!
